Access

Only the professionals you choose get in.

Most supplier education sits on the corporate website behind a button that says "I am a healthcare professional". Hotline gives you a stronger door. You set the sign-up rule, your team approves each registration if you want it to, and every hospital, trust or practice becomes an organisation that sees its own people and nothing else.

  • Invite only, approved email domains, or an approval queue your team works through
  • The approver and the time recorded on every account you accept
  • Each hospital, trust or practice as an organisation, with hospitals or wards underneath
  • Product-specific courses visible to chosen organisations only, with start and end dates

Review

Nothing reaches the catalogue without a named reviewer.

Your content team builds in the course builder or uploads SCORM, then submits. A tenant admin includes or rejects each course with a note the author sees. Start and end dates take content down on time, so a module is never live past its review date.

Hotline keeps that one include-or-reject decision per course, with who made it. It does not hold a multi-stage medical, legal and regulatory sign-off record with reference codes and dates of preparation. If your code of practice needs one, keep it in your own system and record the outcome here.

  • Authors see and edit only their own courses
  • Include or reject, with a note
  • Only included courses reach the catalogue
  • Start and end dates per course, and per organisation

Written for the codes you work under.

Hotline is the door and the record. What counts as promotional, and who signs it off, stays with your signatories.

Prescription medicines: the ABPI Code

Promotional material for prescription medicines is for healthcare professionals only, and the Code expects professional and public areas to be kept apart. A closed or approval-required academy keeps your professional content off the public web, and the review step records who included each course and when.

Medical devices: the ABHI Code

ABHI members fund education through grants to organisations and run their own product and procedure training rather than paying individual clinicians to attend. Dated study days with registers, and online modules with completion records, show that the education happened and who attended.

Medical nutrition: Regulation 2016/128

Foods for special medical purposes must be used under medical supervision, and for infant products advertising is restricted to information intended for healthcare professionals. Education for the dietitians and nurses who recommend your products sits behind the professional-only door, with each learner's organisation on record.

CPD

Certificates learners can use at revalidation.

Nurses revalidating with the NMC need 35 hours of CPD over three years, at least 20 of them participatory, with dated records and evidence. HCPC registrants, dietitians among them, keep a continuous CPD record, and a random sample is audited at each renewal. A dated certificate with a unique number and a verification link is the evidence they need.

  • A branded certificate on every completion, with a public verification link
  • Date, score and grade on the certificate; CPD hours in the course title or the footer text
  • Live study days and webinars recorded as attendance, with a certificate on completion
  • Optional expiry with reminders at 90, 60, 30 and 0 days

Two things Hotline does not do

Hotline is not an accrediting body. Approval of your content comes from bodies such as the CPD Certification Service, BDA CPD Approval or RCN Accreditation, and you can show their mark on your course pages. Hotline also does not look people up on the NMC, GMC or HCPC registers; that check is yours to make, and the approval queue gives you the place to make it.

Everything else a programme needs.

Included on every plan, alongside the access controls and the review step.

Learning paths Sequence modules into a pathway with prerequisites, so a learner finishes the screening module before the supplements module unlocks, and see progress along the way.
Study days and webinars Dated sessions in person, online or blended, with registration, reminders with calendar invites, join links for online sessions and a register on the day.
Pre-work before a session Open the online module at registration so people arrive at the study day having done the reading, and see who has.
Reports by trust Completions, scores, attendance and expiry by learner, course and organisation, so you can tell a trust which of its staff has completed what.
Your brand throughout Your domain, logo, colours, emails and certificates, with no Hotline name anywhere a learner looks.
A learner app Learners can study in the Hotline app for iOS and Android, under your brand, and pick up where they left off.
