PLATFORM · AI ASSISTANT

Run your training business by asking.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or another AI assistant that supports MCP to Hotline. Ask about your dates, delegates and renewals in plain English, then get things done with your OK: bookings, registers, messages and more. It only ever sees and does what you can.

Ask it what you would ask your best administrator.

Everything it answers comes from your live Hotline data, and everything it changes goes through the same rules as the web app.

The schedule "Which courses next month are below their minimum?" "What has no trainer yet?" "How full is the Leeds slinger course?"
Renewals "Who has a certificate expiring before Christmas?" "Which of them have no renewal booked?" It finds them, then offers your next dates.
Bookings "Book Megan and Tom from Harbour Cranes onto Tuesday." Group bookings, places to name later, transfers, waitlists and approvals.
Messages "Tell everyone on Friday's course that parking is at the rear." It shows every recipient and the exact words before anything is sent.
Trainers "What am I teaching next week?" "Mark today's register." "Book me off the first week of November." Trainers see only their own dates.
What happened "Who cancelled that booking?" "What has changed today?" It reads the audit log, so you get answers without hunting through screens.

It acts only with your OK.

01

You ask

In your own words, in the assistant you already use. It works out which parts of Hotline to look at.

02

It shows you

Anything that emails people or moves money comes back as a preview first: what will change and exactly who will be emailed.

03

You say yes

Nothing happens until you confirm. Change your mind and nothing has changed. If a request is retried, it still happens only once.

04

It is on record

Every change is in the audit log, marked as made through the assistant, under the name of the person who asked.

Try it on live data

Practice mode: real changes, no emails.

Switch a connection to practice mode while your team gets used to it. Bookings, dates and records change for real, but the emails those changes would send are held and logged instead.

There is also a limit on how many people one request can email, so a mass message always goes through the web app on purpose.

  • Practice mode per connection, switched on and off in Settings
  • Bookings and records still change, so you try it on real work
  • A cap on recipients per request
  • Disconnect any connection instantly

For your delegates too

Your delegates can ask what they owe.

Many of your customers already give their staff an AI assistant at work. Switch it on for learners and each delegate can connect theirs to their own training: what is due and when, their certificates and expiry dates, their next course dates.

"Open my course" gives a one-time link that signs them in and drops them back where they left off. The session it starts reaches their learning only, nothing else.

  • Off until you switch it on, per workspace
  • Delegates only ever see their own records
  • One-time links that work once, within five minutes
  • Free courses from your catalogue, with the same enrolment rules as your website

In your control.

The same permissions as your team An assistant can only see and do what the person who connected it can. A trainer sees their own dates; a customer's manager sees their own company; an admin sees the workspace.
Previews before anything goes out Bookings, cancellations, messages and anything else that emails people or moves money is previewed first and needs a yes.
A complete audit trail Every change is logged with who asked and that it came through the assistant, alongside everything done in the web app.
Connections you can see Settings lists every connected app, what it was allowed to do and when it was last used. Disconnect any of them at once.
Service connections for your systems Give an HR system or a training matrix its own named key with only the access it needs. It shows in the audit log under its own name, and you can revoke it at any time.
Your own assistant account Hotline does not send your data to an AI company by itself. It answers only what a signed-in person asks, through the assistant account your organisation already uses.

Works with

Built on MCP, the open standard for AI connections.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is how AI assistants connect to the software you use. Hotline works with Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, in Claude Code and in ChatGPT. Other assistants that support MCP connections, such as Microsoft Copilot through Copilot Studio, connect the same way.

Setting it up takes a couple of minutes: paste your workspace's address into the assistant, sign in, and choose what it may do.

Building your own integration?

Everything the assistant can do is also a REST API, with a public reference and an OpenAPI file, single sign-on for apps or named keys for systems, and safe retries.

In a 30-minute walkthrough we connect an assistant to a demo workspace and ask it the questions your office asks every day.
