Built for

  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Medical devices and diagnostics

  • Healthcare services

Education that is part of the product.

Your programme teaches people how to use what you make, keeps them current, and shows a regulator or an auditor that it did.

Healthcare companies educating clinicians Nutrition, devices, wound care, continence, stoma and pharma teams running CPD for dietitians, nurses, pharmacists and doctors. You need content behind a professional-only door, a review step before anything goes live, and certificates the learner can use at revalidation.
Manufacturers training engineers and technicians Product and procedure training for the people who install, service and operate your equipment, at your customers and at distributors. You need customer organisations with their own managers, records per person, and certificates with an expiry that drives the refresher.
Associations and institutes running CPD Member education, dated study days and online modules under the body's own brand, with attendance and completion recorded against each member and a certificate they can download.

A webinar tool, a PDF library and a spreadsheet are not an academy.

Most programmes start as articles and recorded webinars on the company website. The learner gets no record, the company gets no evidence, and nobody can say who has been taught what.

The usual set-up

  • Articles and PDFs on the corporate site, open to anyone who clicks a button
  • Webinars on one platform, sign-ups on another, no record of who attended
  • Nothing to assess understanding and no certificate at the end
  • Material approved by email and published by whoever has the login
  • No way to tell a hospital which of its staff has completed what
  • Reach reported from page views

On Hotline

  • A branded academy on your own domain, with the sign-up rule you choose
  • Courses with lessons, quizzes and a pass mark, plus dated live sessions
  • A certificate with a verification link on every completion, and an expiry if you want one
  • Authors submit, a named reviewer includes or rejects, and dates take content down on time
  • Each customer organisation sees its own people and their records
  • Completions, attendance and expiry reports, on screen and as CSV

How a programme runs on Hotline.

From the first module to the certificate on the learner's file.

  1. Set up

    Brand it

Your domain, logo, colours, emails and certificate design. Learners never see the Hotline name.

  2. Access

    Decide who gets in

Invite only, approved email domains, or an approval queue your team checks before an account is accepted. Product-specific courses can be limited to the organisations you place people in.

  3. Content

    Build, review, publish

Authors build courses in the builder or upload SCORM. A reviewer includes or rejects each one with a note. Start and end dates take content down on time.

  4. Delivery

Online modules and live study days

Self-paced courses with quizzes, and dated sessions in person or online with registration, reminders, join links and registers.

  5. Evidence

    Certificates and records

A branded certificate with a unique number and a verification link on every completion, a record per learner and per organisation, and reminders when a certificate is about to expire.

What you get on every plan.

Controlled access Closed, invite-only, approved-domain or approval-required sign-up. With approval on, your team checks each registration before it is accepted, and the approver is recorded.
Organisations and groups Hospitals, trusts, practices, distributors or regions as organisations with their own managers. Courses can be visible to some organisations and not others, with start and end dates.
Review before publishing Authors submit. An admin includes or rejects with a note, and only included courses reach the catalogue. Scheduled availability takes content down automatically.
Your brand throughout Your domain, logo, colours, emails and certificates. Per-organisation branding where a customer wants its own look.
Courses your way SCORM 1.2 and 2004, xAPI and cmi5 packages, or the built-in builder with eight question types, question pools and a pass mark. Pre-work before a live session.
Live study days and webinars Dated sessions in person, online or blended, with registration, reminders with calendar invites, join links, registers and certificates on attendance.
Certificates and expiry Branded certificates with a unique number, a public verification link and an optional expiry date that drives reminders at 90, 60, 30 and 0 days.
Records and reports Completions, scores, attendance and expiry by learner, course and organisation. Every report views on screen and exports to CSV.

Built for the questions procurement will ask.

Hosting, sub-processors, encryption, access control and the answers healthcare and pharma buyers ask for are on one page, written for the person who signs off the supplier questionnaire.

Security and data protection
  • Personal data encrypted at rest and in transit
  • Each customer's data isolated
  • Two-factor on every plan; single sign-on on the Provider Plus and Group plans
  • Append-only records for exams, transfers and attendance
